Aerial Platforms Course for the training of operators of elevating work platforms (EWP), with or without stabilizers

The aerial platforms course is a theoretical-practical training course, mandatory for aerial platform operators. The use of work equipment that requires particular knowledge and responsibility makes a specific qualification mandatory. Legislative Decree 81/08 provides a dedicated training course for users of elevating work platforms. The State-Regions Conference Agreement of 02/22/2012 detailed the duration and contents of the course.

The course lasts 10 hours and expires every five years. To update training it is necessary to attend the Aerial Platforms Update which lasts 4 hours.

Theoretical and practical tests will be carried out to evaluate the knowledge acquired during the course; a participation/training/qualification certificate will be issued to those who successfully pass them.

Aerial Platforms License

The aerial platforms license, or MEWP license, is issued at the end of the training. The license corresponds to the training certificate, as it is the same document.
