The course is aimed at all those who handle products that contain diisocyanates: independent and employed users, installers; business owners with employees who handle polyurethane/polyurea materials. The training is also useful for: manufacturers of sealants, foams, adhesives, paints, coatings; retailers and distributors of products containing diisocyanates.
The course has a total duration of 2 hours with a final multiple choice test with only one correct answer, in e-learning mode.
The course presents 9 work modules with multimedia content

- Introduction to chemical risk and legislation on the safe use of diisocyanates;
- Restrictions on the use of products containing diisocyanates, risk assessment for protection from chemical agents;
- General measures and principles for the prevention of chemical risks for the health and safety of workers;
- Chemistry of diisocyanates and product labelling;
- Hazard identification, H and P phrases, composition, first aid measures;
- Measures in case of accidental release, handling and storage, glasses, gloves and protective clothing;
- PPE for airway protection and fit tests;
- Instructions, specific procedures and main risks associated with the use of diisocyanates;
- Toxicity, sensitization and risks associated with exposure and application processes.
