IN THE CLASSROOM

The RSPP Module B course, also valid for ASPP, is structured with a 48-hour Common Module for all Production Sectors, to which 4 Specialization Modules are added:

  • SP1 Agriculture and Fisheries – 12 hours
  • SP2 Quarries and Construction – 16 hours
  • SP3 Residential Healthcare – 12 hours
  • SP4 Chemical and Petrochemical – 16 hours

The course is suitable to be able to take on the role as an appointed RSPP / ASPP, pursuant to art. 32 of Legislative Decree 81/08 and subsequent amendments. and the Agreement of the State-Regions Conference of 7 July 2016.

    Minimum contents of Module B common to all production sectors (48 hours)
    • UD1 – Specific risk assessment and accident analysis techniques
    • UD2 – Environment and workplaces
    • UD3 – Fire risk and emergency management – ​​Atex
    • UD4 – Accident risks: Machinery, systems and equipment Electrical risk Mechanical risk Goods handling: lifting appliances and equipment for goods transport Means of transport: rail, road, air and sea
    • UD5 – Accident risks: falls from heights
    • UD6 – Risks of an ergonomic nature and related to work organization: Manual handling of loads Equipment equipped with video terminals
    • UD7 – Risks of a psycho-social nature: Work-related stress Mobbing phenomena and burn-out syndrome
    • UD8 – Physical agents
    • UD9 – Chemical, carcinogenic and mutagenic agents, asbestos
    • UD10 – Biological agents
    • UD11 -Risks connected to particular activities: Co-confined and/or suspected pollution environments, road activities, waste management Risks associated with the intake of narcotic, psychotropic and alcohol substances

    Minimum contents of the specialization B modules Module B-SP1: Agriculture – Fisheries (12 hours)
    • Work organisation: work environments in the agricultural, forestry or livestock sectors and in the fishing sector
    • Personal protective equipment
    • CEI regulations for structures and systems in the agricultural, livestock and fishing sectors
    • Machines, agricultural and forestry equipment and work and on-board equipment
    • Exposure to chemical, carcinogenic and biological agents used in agriculture
    • Exposure to physical agents: noise and vibration in the agricultural and fishing sectors
    • Fire risk and emergency management
    • Risk of falls from above, on board and off board
    • Load movement
    • Hyperbaric atmospheres

    Module B-SP2: Mining – Construction (16 hours)
    • Organization, work phases and work areas of construction sites
    • The operational safety plan (POS)
    • Notes on the PSC and PSS
    • Quarries and mines Personal protective equipment
    • Falls from heights and temporary works
    • Excavation works
    • Electrical systems and construction site lighting
    • Mechanical risk: machines and equipment
    • Goods movement: lifting equipment and means of transport
    • Exposure to chemical, carcinogenic and mutagenic agents, asbestos in kennels
    • Exposure to physical agents on construction sites: noise and vibrations
    • Fire and explosion risk in mining activities and construction sites
    • Activities on roadsides
    Module B-SP3: Residential Healthcare (12 hours)
    • Work organisation: work environments in the healthcare, hospital, outpatient and care sectors
    • Personal protective equipment
    • Electrical risk and CEI regulations for structures and systems in the healthcare sector
    • Accident risks for healthcare devices, systems and equipment and specific healthcare activities
    • Exposure to chemical agents: carcinogens and biological agents used in the healthcare sector
    • Exposure to physical agents: noise, microclimate, electromagnetic fields, ionizing radiation, vibration in the healthcare sector
    • Fire risk and emergency management
    • Hyperbaric atmospheres
    • Hospital waste management
    • Load movement

    Module B-SP4: Chemical – Petrochemical (16 hours)
    • Production process, work organization and working environments in the chemical-petrochemical sector
    • Personal protective equipment CEI regulations for structures and systems Plants in the chemical and petrochemical sector
    • Exposure to chemical, carcinogenic and mutagenic agents in the chemical and petrochemical sector
    • Exposure to physical agents in the chemical and petrochemical sector
    • Fire, explosion risks and emergency management
    • Waste management
    • Plant maintenance and supplier management

    Training certificate: certificate valid throughout Italy, for the purposes of the legislation in question

    Requirements: understanding of the Italian language

    Update: five-yearly update, or annual update of 20% of the total hours; it is possible to update the RSPP Module B Online
